There has been concern expressed by our registrants regarding patient travel across the Nova Scotia- New Brunswick border for dental care. Clarification has been received from the Chief Medical Officer of Health about this matter.

Nova Scotia Patients
If possible, patients should access their necessary dental care in Nova Scotia rather than travel to New Brunswick as long as the quarantine is in place.

New Brunswick Patients
New Brunswick patients can receive urgent and necessary care in Nova Scotia that cannot be provided in New Brunswick.  However, if care can be deferred or arrangements made to receive care in New Brunswick then that would be strongly encouraged.  We all need to be doing what we can to minimize travel in and out of New Brunswick right now.
